The Petroleum Division of ASME's International Petroleum Technology Institute (IPTI) presents it's 5th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament benefiting Student Scholarships / Programs. The tournament will take place on Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Westside Sporting Grounds in west Houston, TX. Space is limited. Please reserve a spot for your team. ASME is very aware of the “graying” of our industry and the struggles that we are facing with technology transfer. ASME/IPTI has several programs in place that are helping to take the best of the engineering student body and steer them towards the oil and gas industry, an industry segment that has been widely ignored by students exploring career options in the past. Programs such as our award winning Collegiate Council, Student Intern, Young professional Intern, Campus Visitations and our student scholarships have heightened the awareness of the industry as a viable career option.
