Bringing API-U Training to Malaysia

As plants are faced with aging infrastructure worldwide, equipment reliability is becoming critical to the maintenance of plant safety as well as to plant profitability. Increasingly, plants are focusing on new technologies that ensure equipment availability and control inspection costs, while maintaining the highest safety standards. To address this important issue, Frontium, Inc. of Malaysia and The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. of the United States are pleased to introduce the first in a series of technology training courses as part of a 5-day conference and training event, Bringing API University to Malaysia. Frontium’s partnership with Equity facilitates our mission to bring state-of-the-art training and technology to our local industry. Equity Engineering has been at the forefront of developing 21st Century standards and technologies for the oil refining and petrochemical industries worldwide, and is the primary author of API 579 Fitness-For-Service and the re-write of API 581 Risk-Based Inspection as well as other technical standards. Equity engineers are official API-certified trainers, and will be the training personnel at this and future events.
