HOUSTON, April 17, 2000 - Petris Technology Inc. released an updated version of PetrisX, The Internet Property Exchange, today at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) annual meeting held in New Orleans, LA.
PetrisX 1.1 also boasts better navigation, powerful map or text searches, more informative member and seller pages, and the allowance of requests and acquisitions of original and licensed data for properties on the site.
PetrisX web-based services create an online Data Room that enables asset management decisions, property valuations, and property transactions to come together into one continuum of decision making, reducing cycle times, lowering transaction costs and improving valuation analysis.
Seismic, well log data, production history, land, lease, legal, environmental, pipeline, cultural, and financial data can all be uploaded by a seller to a central server. Interested buyers can then download the information they wish to view, either browsing through minimal data sets on many prospects, or drilling into the depths of the data to evaluate a given property.
