Sequa's Chromalloy Gas Turbine Unit Receives Service Agreement Award From Delta Air Lines

New York - Delta Air Lines' Technical Operations division (TechOps) has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Sequa's Chromalloy Gas Turbine unit. The announcement was made during an April 19th press conference held by Delta at the MRO North America 2007 Conference and Exhibition in Atlanta, Georgia.

The proposed five-year agreement involves provision of engine components and services in support of the CF6-80A and CF6-80C2 engine models powering Delta's extensive Boeing 767 widebody fleet, and includes support of Delta's third-party contract engine customers.

"Chromalloy is delighted to be a part of Delta's plan for the future by providing high quality CF6-80A and CF6-80C2 engine components for the airline's maintenance and overhaul operations," stated Chris Richardson, Chromalloy's Vice Chairman and CEO. "Delta TechOps is highly regarded in the MRO industry for providing maintenance services for not only Delta's own engines, but also for third parties."

"Strategic partnerships like the one we've entered into with Chromalloy continue to further establish Delta TechOps as a leader in the MRO industry," said Tony Charaf, senior vice president of Delta TechOps. "We are pleased to be partnering with Chromalloy and look forward to continuing to grow our relationship."

For the past several years, Chromalloy has provided Delta with a broad range of CF6-80A and CF6-80C2 engine component maintenance services. This new strategic partnership award includes additional components and signifies Delta's continued confidence in Chromalloy's ability to deliver value and savings to the airline and TechOps' customers.
