Honeywell Analytics Signs Largest Ever Zareba Sensepoint Pro Order In UK

Honeywell Analytics is celebrating the largest ever UK sale of Sensepoint Pro gas detectors with the purchase of 52 units by gas transport company Transco.

Following a successful three-month trial, Transco purchased the units, which have been installed in two gas compressor houses located in the north west of England.

Transco's gas compressor stations are used to re-boost the pressure of gas once it has been brought in from an undersea pipeline. When gas is pumped into the grid system and transported from one area of the UK, it loses pressure, hence the need for compressor stations across the country.

Honeywell Analytics' Sensepoint Pro gas detector, part of the Zareba range of fixed detection systems, provides comprehensive monitoring of flammable, toxic and oxygen gas hazards. Offering Honeywell Analytics' innovative sensing technology in a reliable and cost-effective gas detection solution, Sensepoint Pro is ideal for use in commercial and industrial environments such as car parks, municipal buildings, retail facilities and wastewater treatment plants.
