The Fike Hydraulic Tubing Drain (HTD), a pressure actuated dual purpose downhole device, is fundamental for all artificial lift operations. The Fike HTD provides a simple yet safe means to drain tubing when downhole pumps need to be pulled for service. It can also be utilized to circulate debris to free up stuck tubing and retrieve expensive downhole tools such as packers and anchors.
