Net Safety's next generation detector, the Millennium II BASIC is a robust, reliable, and low-cost safety solution delivering highly accurate detection and protection. Our state-of-the-art "SMART" (Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) sensors provide a cost-effective detector solution that includes all the features you demand with complete ease-of-use and operation.

Sensors can be easily exchanged, with NE-MOS Solid State, Electrochemical, Infrared and Catalytic Bead sensors available and compatible with both the Millennium II and Millennium II BASIC transmitters. The Millennium II transmitter automatically recognizes any connected pre-calibrated sensor and maintains an uninterrupted digital signal between them, providing leading response times including the fastest response time in the market today for H2S Hydrogen Sulfide gas detection.

Features

  • Fast Response
Sensor and transmitter continuously communicate digitally, giving you the confidence of stable, accurate protection with leading response times, including the fastest H2S response on the market!
  • Proven Sensor Technologies
All of our sensors are engineered to be fast and reliable with field-proven designs. These include Nano-Enhanced Metal Oxide Semiconductor (NE-MOS) sensors that "do not fall asleep"; a full range of fast response Electrochemical toxic gas sensors; poison-resistant Catalytic Bead technology with SensorGuard, which prolongs sensor life (see below); and Infrared sensor technology utilizing a dual beam design with no "mirrors" that may become contaminated ("fogged up") or misaligned.
  • Full Sensor Compatibility
The same transmitter is compatible with Catalytic Bead, Infrared, Electrochemical or Solid State digital sensors. Maintenance is also greatly reduced with the Millennium II BASIC being easily calibrated by "one man", non-intrusively.
  • Market-Leading Warranties
    • Infrared & Catalytic Bead Sensors - 5 Year Warranty
    • Solid State & Electrochemical Sensors - 2 Year Warranty
    • Transmitter and Electronics - 3 Year Warranty
  • Global Certifications
FM Approved Performance, Certified Class 1, Division 1 Explosion proof to CSA, ANSI-UL/ISA, ATEX, INMETRO, and GOST-R Safety and Technical Standards - ABS Marine Approved.
  • Widest Input Power Range
Allows for longer sensor separation (+2000ft.) using lighter gauge cabling which means lower installation costs and increased system stablility by allowing greater voltage drops. Serious conditions can occur during voltage drops when other detectors will stop functioning or go into fault mode.
  • Proprietary SensorGuard System on Catalytic Bead Sensors
Following a gas leak detection/alarm event, oversaturation (100%LEL) is prevented by our advanced micro-processor automatically terminating the current to the sensor when the presence of concentrated gas remains in the area. This prevents premature sensor burn-out and dramatically increases the sensor's lifespan. This unique feature allows Net Safety to offer our market-leading 5 year warranty on all our Catalytic Bead sensors.
  • Enhanced Communications
The Millennium II BASIC comes equipped with optional Analog, Relay, RS485 Modbus RTU, or HART communications, making integration with external safety equipment seamless.
  • Simple Operation
We have designed our equipment for ease of use with clear, easy-to-read LED indicators for power and status. The Millennium II BASIC is also designed with a simple plug-in sensor replacement capability.
