Pick-Up & Lay-Down Machines

Hydra Group manufactures several types of pick-up & lay-down machines. All of which are designed to safely and efficiently move pipe between the racks and rig floor faster than the pipe can be run or pulled.

Designed and built for quick positioning and rig-up, the compact truck or skid mounted units can be set up and operating within 30 minutes.

By immensely reducing job time, pipe or thread damage and personnel fatique and accidents, our machines have generated immediate acceptance from customers and rig crews internationally.

Specifications

Capacity: Pipe sizes to 20" casing, 8" drill collars, 5000 lb. load, larger capacity available.

Speed: All operational speeds are infinitely adjustable, and limited only by the capacity of the rig & floor crew.

Versatility: Adjustable to fit most any rig, able to change from pick-up to lay-down within 15 minutes.
