Suez Environnement Acquires Process Group For Strategic Development In The Oil & Gas Market

In order to reach its growth ambition on the industrial water market, Suez Environnement, through its subsidiary Degremont, has completed the acquisition of Process Group, a highly reputable company on the industrial market.

Based in Melbourne (Australia), Singapore and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Process Group is specialised in engineering, design, fabrication, commissioning of equipment for the global Oil & Gas industry. Process Group deals with complex and challenging projects requiring technology solutions such as Gas dehydration, Gas sweetening, produced water treatment and sand management. Founded in 1978, the company counts 120 employees of several nationalities and achieved an annual turnover of about 60 million euros.

With this acquisition, Suez Environnement extends its geographical footprint in the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia and reinforces its technical expertise and portfolio towards the Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas industry. Process Group brings additional capabilities in the Oil & Gas market, as well as commercial and technological complementarities to offer a complete portfolio of solutions and technologies to industrial customers all around the world. Process Group will complete Suez Environnement customer portfolio with global Oil & Gas companies such as Shell, BHP Billiton, Chevron, Premier and Exxon Mobil.

The Oil and Gas market is one of the Group’s key targeted sectors for its development in industrial water. Increasingly stringent environmental regulations will ensure significant growth opportunities in all regions.
