Reducing non-productive time (NPT) is the main focus of any drilling operation. While proper maintenance and adequate spare parts can successfully address mechanical deficiencies, the challenges of drilling new wells are often quite large. This course will incorporate “learnings” from various case studies. There are also practical exercises designed with the expressed purpose of generating a lively interactive discussion from all the participants. This training course is tailored and customized for drilling practitioners. It focuses on the many different aspects of planning and drilling a new well using best practices.
