Smart coatings and smart fluids for high performance and asset integrity in the petroleum industry. The aim of this conference is to bring together a community of scientists, engineers, and solution providers: 1) Training with a renowned chemistry professor and polymer scientist. 2) Listen to other experts from the coatings industries, chemical companies, instrument companies, and petroleum companies. A summary of the important points to be covered include:- Smart coatings, corrosion and scaling inhibition, chemical additives and inhibitors, new polymer materials for non-metallics, proppant resin coatings for hydraulic fracturing, cement formulation, nanocomposite and nanofluids formulation, new surfactants for flow assurance and well stimulation fluids, state-of-the-art analytical characterization methods. This is a two-day tutorial workshop in technology and a Exhibition of the latest products and instrumentation for the industry.
