If you develop products in support of oil & gas projects (subsurface, subsea, process & separation) and want to reduce development time and costs while improving performance, this workshop is for you. With today’s challenging market conditions, cost reduction and efficiency improvements are a competitive necessity. Traditional design processes, reliant on physical testing, can be costly and limit the number of design variants evaluated. By automating robust, validated CFD simulations, design teams can increase the number of design points evaluated while reducing time spent on analysis. FMC Technologies was able to reduce time spent on simulation by 40%, while significantly increasing the number of designs evaluated. The Day Will Have Three Goals: 1) To provide an overview of the technology available and its relevance to the oil & gas industry. 2) To share best practices for how these methods can be successfully implemented into design processes (customers will present on how they’ve leveraged the technology). 3) Conduct a hands-on session, where you’ll be able to try yourself.
