The mission of the forum is the formation of a comprehensive and authoritative evaluation of the internal and external challenges for the Russian oil and gas industry through open discussion by leading experts, an increase in the quality of projection and modelling of scenario conditions for the development of the fuel and energy industry over the medium and long term. Key issues addressed by the Forum include long-term milestones and goals of oil and gas industry, development of energy market infrastructure, innovations and energy efficiency, fiscal policy analysis, creation of competitive market environment, improving hydrocarbon price forecast accuracy, effects of volatility on macro-economic variables and foreign trade policy, as well as environmental standards and energy industry security. A specialised exhibition "Modern technologies and innovations in Oil and Gas Industry" will run in parallel to the Forum, introducing the most recent innovative technologies in oil and gas industry of the host country to all guests and participants
