The ARI family of catalysts has proven very effective in removing mercaptan from jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, and other petroleum fractions when used with various oxidation technologies. ARI catalytic reagents are specifically designed for mercaptan sweetening of petroleum fractions. When used with technologies such as the Merichem Company's MERICATSM and MERICATSM II processes, operating and capital costs are 80 - 95% lower than hydrotreating costs.

To ensure maximum removal efficiency, choose the catalytic reagent that's ideal for your process:

ARI-100L - A patented high-quality catalytic reagent used in the extraction or conversion of lighter, easier-to-oxidize thiols. It offers a higher activity and a more soluble reagent than competitive products.

ARI-100EXL - A more soluble form of ARI-100L, it is also used in the extraction or conversion of lighter, easier-to-oxidize thiols.

ARI-120L - A high-quality catalytic reagent used to impregnate fixed bed reactors. It's supplied as a liquid slurry and is used to convert hard-to-oxidize thiols.

All ARI chemicals can be packaged to meet your specific requirements. Standard packaging consists of 1-gallon bottles containing 2 pounds of active catalyst.

All component chemical substances in these products have been reported to the EPA for the Toxic Substances Control Act Chemical Substances Inventory.
