Detonation Flame Arrestor units are bi-directional and can be installed vertically or horizontally at great distances from the ignition point and withstand high pressure deflagration and detonations. They are also designed to provide protection against continuous burning for a specified period. Elements are available for group B/C and D gases.
Construction of carbon steel with 304 S.S. elements is standard. Other stainless steels, exotic materials, and protective coatings are optional.
