DrillWorks/PREDICT is a popular software system for geopressure analysis. The system is being used effectively around the world by drilling engineers, geophysicists, geologists, and petrophysicists within major oil industry companies to predict geopressures before, during and after drilling. It uses any combination of seismic data, wireline data, MWD/LWD data, RFTs, LOTs, mudlogging and/or geologic data. The software is designed to support the user in the real world where the perfect set of data is not available and new methods are constantly being developed.
The innovative nature of the system was recognized when it was awarded the 1999 Hart's Petroleum Engineer International Special Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation in Software. The system is available in an Office Version for well planning and post-drill analysis and in a Wellsite Version for real-time analysis using MWD/LWD data in WITS format. DrillWorks software operates on Windows 95/98/NT4.0.
