FABORY taps and dies
The FABORY taps mainly come in sets. We have 2 and 3 part sets available directly ex-stock. The 2 part sets are mainly used for fine screw threads because the profile depth of these taps is short. All taps are of HSS-G material, bright grounded, without surface treatment, and are available in metric, metric fine, BSW, BSF, UNC, UNF, BSP and Pg screw threads.
Machine screwing taps
Various types of machine screwing taps are included in the FABORY range. These taps are mainly used singly as end taps. Machine screwing taps for through holes as well as blind holes. All machine screwing taps are available in HSS-Eco material, bright grounded, and in all the above-mentioned screw threads. The metric screw thread variety is also available with a titanium nitride coating.
New to this range are the FABORY machine screwing taps with coloured rings. These high quality, cobalt alloyed, metric machine screwing taps have a colour coding on the shank, indicating the type of material for which they can be used. The screw thread geometry is extremely precise and is therefore ideal for specific applications.
Cutting tools
Dies are used for cutting the external screw thread. This can be done manually or mechanically. The FABORY screwing dies are available in solid sets. The FABORY hexagon die nuts are used for repairing or cleaning up existing external screw threads. Even in places difficult to access, these die nuts will cut a perfect screw thread.
