Acteon Secures Nomination For Oilfield Services Business Of The Year

Leading specialist subsea services group Acteon has been nominated for an Oil Council award in the Oilfield Services Business of the Year category. The awards celebrate international successes in the oil and gas industry throughout 2012 and are judged by a panel of 50 industry experts.

The award focuses on companies and executives who have pioneered new frontiers, pushed boundaries, inspired others and achieved growth in challenging markets. A panel of judges consider and subsequently nominate companies based on a range of criteria. These criteria include overall leadership as an industry benchmark of excellence; financial and operational performance; strength of industry partnerships; and strength of market reputation, corporate governance and public relations.

“We are delighted to receive this nomination and are encouraged to see subsea services recognised as a distinct part of the subsea market,” said Acteon vice president Paul Alcock. “Acteon’s aim is to define subsea services by offering industry-leading services that are distinct from but support the operations of vessel owners and construction companies.”

The winners will be announced on 27 November at a gala evening at the Old Billingsgate in Old Billingsgate Market in London attended by approximately 900 senior executives from across the energy, finance and investment industries.
