Energas Resources, Inc. Provides Operational Update

Oklahoma City, OK - Energas Resources, Inc. recenly issued an operational update in an effort to provide information about the Company's current status.

As previously announced, management is negotiating financing to drill a new well in both the Parkway Project and Whitley field in eastern Kentucky. The Parkway well should provide the electric log data that our consultants need to formulate the process to treat the wells in this project. Also, management now believes the Whitley field could hold more potential than originally estimated due to recent discovery wells in the area.

In the meantime, field personnel have reconditioned the Company's own truck mounted Ingersoll-Rand drilling rig and are making plans to drill wells in the Pulaski County field in eastern Kentucky. This rig is well suited to drill the shallow natural gas wells in the Pulaski field which are likely to be less than 1,000 feet. Management is now in the process of reauthorizing drilling permits in this project, which is expected to take approximately 2 weeks.

"We identified a sweet spot in the Pulaski field during past drilling programs and our field personnel want to develop it," stated George Shaw, President. "Given that the costs are limited, I'm excited to pursue this idea in an effort to increase production." Further announcements will be forthcoming.
