Pharma-Safe Strengthens Team With Darrell Fontenot As Director Of HSE

Health and safety company Pharma-Safe Industrial has recently added industry veteran, Darrell Fontenot, to their team as the new Director of HSE. Darrell brings with him more than 20 years of HSE expertise and industry knowledge with hands-on experience.

Fontenot will be responsible for developing strategies that improve clients’ global safety performance within a variety of industries including oil and gas, construction, manufacturing and fabrication, among others. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Fontenot will frequently travel to work directly with clients in order to place the right HSE consultants and technicians for the specific needs of that client and project. Fontenot is skilled at scoping out all aspects of a safety program from start to finish, which helps to create and maintain a culture of safety within a company.

Fontenot is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and remains an active, recognized HSE leader in the industry. Over the course of his career, Fontenot has recruited, mentored and advised more than 200 HSE technicians for onsite placement at customer locations.
