Twin Brothers Receives AISC Certification

Twin Brothers Marine (TB), a leader in heavy steel fabrication for the oil & gas, infrastructure and renewables industries, has received the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) conditional certification for its Louisa, La. facility.

The AISC designation certifies Twin Brothers in AISC categories of bridge fabricator – intermediate (major), metal component manufacturer, fracture critical endorsement and sophisticated paint endorsement P3 – exposed.

The AISC certification is intended for companies creating and/or erecting steel structures, such as buildings, bridges and bridge and highway components.

TB’s general manager, Jason Webster, stated, “The AISC certification recognizes Twin Brothers’ commitment to quality and its high standards of performance throughout the entire process of fabrication to production. It took nearly one year of intense effort by the Twin Brothers team during the difficult COVID-19 restrictions to get it, and I commend our employees for their dedication and high-level of performance.”
