The 2017 SPE Intelligent Oil and Gas Symposium is aiming to be a forum upon which industry experts and professionals can share experiences as well as the latest solutions and approaches towards intelligent field applications and technologies. Driven by the need to reduce operating costs through increased operational awareness, optimising production and extending field life, oil and gas companies have been developing their digital oilfield capabilities. In line with this trend, the symposium covers the key topics and ethos of an Intelligent Field system including Real-Time Production Management and Operations, Reservoir Management, Real-Time Drilling, as well as the People, Process, and Organisational Change Management aspect along with Collaborative Working Environments.
