The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware is delighted to announce that on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October it will be hosting a free lightbulb exchange. In celebration of its ongoing 2017 environmentally friendly ‘Love Your World’ campaign, the centre is inviting shoppers and local residents to bring along an old lightbulb and exchange it for a brand new energy efficient LED replacement. Recent reports show that LED light bulbs are 10 times more efficient at converting electricity than standard bulbs and ultimately save the average household around £240 a year. With this in mind, The Broadwalk Centre has teamed up with independent retailer The Light Bulb Shop to host the free exchange. The Light Bulb shop's expert team will be on hand to offer a variety of useful hints and tips to help ensure shoppers select the best option for them.
