The conference and exhibition will be held 9-11 April 2019 in Mumbai, India. I extend a warm invitation to you to be a part of this conference. The SPE Oil and Gas India Conference and Exhibition is a well-recognised event which aims to bring together the latest advances and best practices in the oil and gas industry. The previous edition in April 2017 was organised with the theme, "Managing E And P Business in the Changing Environment" and was very well-received by local and international oil and gas professionals. We received more than 600 delegates from 121 companies and 23 countries. The world is changing at a pace never seen before and the demand for energy, oil and gas in particular, continues to rise. This is not a time to wait and see but a time to think differently, to collaborate, and to create new opportunities for growth. The low-price environment was a testing period for all producers and investors and now the challenges of clean energy call for us to explore new ways to sustain the industry with an innovative approach and efficient work practices. Hence, this conference is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges faced by the sector and explore solutions. Innovation is greater than at any time in human history, and data analytics coupled with new technologies is increasing our productivity and stimulating growth. The event will bring together all the major partners and experts from different regions across the world to collaborate and unlock new technical solutions. There will also be an opportunity to gain knowledge and communicate with industry peers during the exhibition which will be taking place alongside the technical conference. Optimising in challenging economic times to ensure the best return on assets through operational excellence will be a focus of the conference. Like previous years, this edition will cover a wide spectrum of technical categories.
