All-Terrain Seismic Data Acquisition

PolySeis ATS land system uses patented radio telemetry units to transmit seismic data from remote telemetry units. Standard land seismic acquisition has employed cable telemetry exclusively, but this system allows the combined use of radio and cable telemetry.

It is as competent in shallow water as it is in transition zones, mountains, and deserts. It is a complete land system with features that maximize its capabilities. Each of the remote telemetry units is self testing and can store over 1,000 shots in local memory. Local Data Storage (LDS) allows the operator to use natural breaks in the survey to download data, but does not eliminate the ability to download shot by shot. The LDS provides for a large channel count without the inconvenience of a large inter-record shot delay.
