API Applauds House Passage Of Bipartisan Tax Bill, Urges Senate To Act Swiftly

The American Petroleum Institute (API) released the following statement today from API Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer Amanda Eversole after the House approved the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024:

"We thank Speaker Johnson and Chairman Smith for their leadership in passing the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act. This bipartisan legislation is critical to our industry’s ability to produce affordable and reliable energy, support American jobs and strengthen U.S. competitiveness. We urge the Senate to build on this progress and act quickly to send this bill to President Biden’s desk."
