CanAlta Controls Ltd.

Canalta Controls Ltd. was incorporated in April, 1986 and started operations in September, 1986. The firm was founded by Derold Clark who is the present sole owner and manager of operations. The company started operations as an instrumentation/electrical service and construction contractor and operated as such for the first three years. In 1989, as competition became intense, the firm made a shift to sales of remanufactured control and electrical devices. An R&D program was also initiated at this time with industrial burner control systems as the main focus. The corporate plan was at that time to keep cash flow stable with sales of reconditioned equipment and a long term goal of development of our own line of products. The initial corporate mandate has not changed. At present we are focusing on expansion of the product lines with an aggressive R&D program as well as expansion of the manufacturing facilities. Our goal is to be a self-contained manufacturer with representatives worldwide.

The company has twenty employees in three divisions:

1. Electronics

2. Orifice Fittings

3. Remanufactured Instrumentation Sales

The Company is located in it's own 17,000 sq.ft facility and we have recently aquired an additional 11,000 sq.ft facility for the manufacture of orifice fittings.
