Crown Mounted Compensators (CMC)

The Hydralift Crown Mounted Compensators are the third generation version of the proven and trusted design patented by Institut Francais de Petrole (IFP).

The units have vertical mounted compensator cylinders, and crown block connected linkages with sheaves for compensation on the fastline and deadline.The compensators have all the advantages of a crown-mounted unit with vertical cylinders that minimise unnecessary loadings, weights and frictions. This design feature results in only a lightweight support structure being required - a feature giving significant weight and cost savings compared to other compensators.
