Dresser-Rand To Unveil Enhanced Guascor Marine Diesel Engine At Navalia Trade Fair

During the Navalia Trade Fair in Vigo, Spain at booth #3-39, Dresser-Rand, a global supplier of rotating equipment solutions to the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, and process industries, will unveil its enhanced Guascor SF240TA-SP family of marine diesel engines.

Designed to be even more efficient and cleaner than previous models, the Guascor SF240TA-SP family line of engines improves performance and reduces fuel consumption by up to 20 percent depending on the type of engine and use.

Built for all uses including trawlers, seiners, long-line fishing vessels, ferries, tug boats, and more, the enhanced product line saves on fuel costs, has been redesigned for maximum performance, features a new camshaft, and contains a new cooling system complete with a double LT/HT fresh water circuit. Its 8L/12V engine has propulsion speeds ranging from 1600 rpm to 1800 rpm.
