Detector Electronics Corporationr ability to verify proper performance of an entire fire detection system is made possible by the new Det-Tronics electronic date and time stamp module for use in conjunction with flame detectors.
Developed for operation with Det-Tronics unitized IR or UV flame detectors and UVIR units, it offers added trouble-shooting and diagnostic capabilities by logging the date and time of both alarm and fault events as well as power on and power off.
The module enables the logging of hundreds of events, and the Det-Tronics ‘Inspector' software system is used to access the event history.
In critical applications, it is essential to verify that a system suppression discharge was actually caused by a flame detector sensing a fire rather than triggered by fire panel or faulty installation practices.
