System for Mapping and Analysis in Real Time (SMART) is PC-based software designed for Windows NT 4.0. The software allows users to analyze, visualize and asses risk and to access and update a portfolio of 3D reservoir maps. It provides a multi-disciplinary geostatistical model; assists geoscientists in optimal placement of horizontal and vertical wells; provides interactive spatial geostatistical mapping and reservior characterization for portfolio of reservoirs; and integrates 2D/3D seismic structure. The software also feature integrated GIS, 3D kriging and advanced fractal stochastic interpolations and algorithms for single and multiple realizations, instant volumetric calculations within contacts, and advanced filter capabilities.
