Ferguson Seacabs introduces the Modupack for quick and cost-effective modular solutions
By supplying the module in a flat-pack format the Modupack can be transported in sets of eight on a standard road trailer thereby significantly reducing transportation costs. Once on location, un-skilled personnel can easily assemble the Modupack, available in 8ft by 10ft, 20ft and 30ft options, in two to three hours. Electrical connections are also simply set-up within this timeframe.
Each module is made up of solid steel frames with flexible corrugated steel panels, which can be removed or replaced to create any size or layout of complex required. The strength of the materials used and the integrity of windows and door fittings guarantees a level of security unavailable in alternative forms of quick set-up accommodation.
In order that the Modupack can be used globally the modules are also fitted with high-grade heat and sound insulation making them suitable for a variety of environments, from arctic to desert to tropical. Internal fixtures and fittings, such as beds, showers and WC arrangements can be installed as required.
Doug McConnell, Business Development Manager for Ferguson Seacabs, commented: "We are very excited about the potential benefits that will be realised by the use of the Modupack system. The ease of transportation and set-up, as well as flexibility of application, cannot be seen elsewhere in a module of this strength and durability and we are already seeing a high level of interest from a wide variety of sources.
He continued: "The speed-sensitive climate in which we now operate demands that accommodation requirements, be they for beds, offices, canteens or sanitation blocks, can be fulfilled almost immediately. In this context the Modupack looks set to become a standard for high quality, quick-fix accommodation solutions that last."
