Flo-Line Cleaner Plus
How the Flo-Line Cleaner Plus Operates
The Flo-Line Cleaner Plus utilizes a superior linear motion screening action rather than the traditional vertical-elliptical or circular pattern. Two high G force vibrating motors are used in place of one, combined with a variable angle screen bed. The lead angle of the motor bracket is fixed at 50° from the bed allowing the pitch angle to be reduced without affecting solids conveyance. Normal screen bed orientation is between -15° downhill and +5° uphill pitch. This ensures maximum fluid throughput and positive solids conveyance off the machine, even with sticky clays.
Super G Motors
The FLC Plus utilizes two of Derrick's revolutionary Super G Vibrating Motors. These motors operate at 1750 RPM, increasing output from the previous 4.0 G's to an unprecedented 7.0 G's. The increased G force produced by the Super G Motors allows rigs to increase fluid handling capacities while actually utilizing fewer shakers. Rigs can also screen finer, earlier in the drilling process, resulting in significantly reduced mud and disposal costs. The Super G Motors also feature a new "Greased-For-Life" bearing system which eliminates the need for a remote lubrication system and reduces decibel output to 81dB. Super G Motors are built with high quality Derrick electrics, revered in the industry for unmatched durability.
Adjustable While Drilling Screen Deck
Derrick's time proven deck angle adjustment mechanism utilizes a manually operated rising stem screw jack which enables one person to quickly and easily raise or lower the screen basket from -15° downhill to +5° uphill. As drilling rates or formation or mud properties change, the angle of the screen surfaces can be adjusted while the machine is running to achieve proper solids conveyance and fluid end points. Lowering the screen to -15° offers exceptional solids conveyance while decreasing fluid loss when removing sticky clay or large drilled cuttings. Increased capacity, longer screen life, and optimal solids removal efficiency are the results.
Corrosion Resistant Features
All Flo-Line Cleaner Plus units receive a white metal grit blast with multiple coats of epoxy mastic for maximum corrosion resistance. Fasteners, screen tensioning assemblies, stringer support bed, and all other key components are made of stainless steel. The entire stringer support bed features replaceable high performance urethane covers for prolonged life of the unit.
Other Features
All Flo-Line Cleaner Plus shakers come standard with explosion proof electrics, manual feed bypass, and a convenient front access door for easy access to the underside of the screen frame.
