GD Energy Products (GDEP), the leading total solutions provider for the drilling, well servicing and frac pumps market, is proud to be Certified by Great Place to Work. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at GDEP. This year, 86 percent of employees said it’s a great place to work – 29 points higher than the average U.S. company.

“We are delighted to become Great Place to Work-Certified as we aim to make GDEP a place where employees take pride not only in their work, but also in who they are as an individual,” said Larry Kerr, CEO, GDEP. “We appreciate and value each of our employees and continue to focus on building a culture of transparency here at GDEP.”

Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.

“Great Place to Work Certification isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that GDEP is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”

Each day, GDEP works to build a culture of pride and respect within the workplace as over 90 percent of employees felt they were treated fairly regardless of their gender or race. The company aims to make everyone who walks through the door welcome. GDEP celebrates the success of its employees and 88 percent stated they were proud to work for the company.

Kerr said, “We are committed to continuing our success as a team with a focus to serve one another and our customers better than ever before.”

According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
