The Arnco 200XT employs innovations in hardbanding to reduce casing wear by 85%, according to the company. As a consequence, lighter weight and lower grade casing can be used while measurably increasing drill pipe tool joint life. This product is also suitable for use with other drilling tools such as heavy weight drill pipe, drill collars, and stabilizers.
A chromium-rich alloy hardbanding that differs greatly from traditional hardbanding materials, this product combines the advantages of high stress abrasion resistance with an extremely low co-efficient of friction and may be used in both open hole and cased hole situations for joint and casing protection.
