Marine Seismic Data Processing

Gardline's seismic processing department was established in 1989
Gardline's seismic processing department was established in 1989 and since then has developed an extensive knowledge of high-resolution site survey data processing. More recently, with increased interest in exploration, we have processed a considerable quantity of 2D marine data.

Processing is conducted using a network of UltraSparc servers utilising the latest version of Western's Omega SPS software. Additionally one or more of four ProMAX systems are available for production processing. Field processing comprises either QC or full onboard processing of data as acquired, to facilitate time-critical decision making in the field. Robust, compact and portable platforms such as IBM or UltraSparc systems are deployed to survey vessels. The industry-standard Landmark ProMAX processing system is utilised, with operators selected from our highly experienced team.

Gardline's main survey processing facility is situated within the Great Yarmouth head office. The department's role within the fully integrated seismic service that Gardline offers enables us to fully appreciate both the nature of the acquisition and the needs of the interpreter. Final products can be exported via the internal network to interpretation workstations for analysis.
