Mud Tanks

Source: Industrial Power & Service, Inc.
We know that a mud tank is more than simply a big box that holds mud
We give special attention to the areas that tend to be more susceptible to fatigue and erosion, such as joints and seams. This is where we can greatly increase the durability and life of the structure by offering Line-X and utilizing overlapping corner welds.

The Line-X adds a much needed strength to the seams along the bottom of the tank, where most of the erosion takes place. We also do not use any butt-welding on our mud tank corners, we use lap welds with broken corners, which provides structural strength as well as protection from fatigue due to rust down the road.

Bottom line...we build OSHA approved tanks to any size, any configuration. Standard Construction Features: -No welded corners; all corners broken -Lap welds; no butt welds -1/4 inch crimped walls -3/8 inch floor -3x3x1/4" square tubing top ring and cross braces, all seal welded -Three sliding wier doors in divider with chain -No-rot Line-X neoprene band around wall to bottom seam -Vortex breakers on suctions -6 inch end pipes -12 inch wide flange beams (3) -Built to latest OSHA standards
