New Rechargeable Battery Charger For The X4 Series Portable Gas Detector

Zellweger Analytics, the global leader in toxic, flammable and hazardous gas detection technology, is pleased to announce that the popular new multi-gas Neotronics ImpulseX4 portable gas detector has been enhanced with the additional feature of a long life NiMH rechargeable battery charger.

Having received North American and European safety approvals, the new X4 Universal Cradle Charger system includes a rapid fast charger cradle and a robust battery pack that simply replaces the original alkaline battery compartment.

Full charging can be accomplished within four hours to provide a long operational lifetime that is ideal to cover most working shifts and transportation time back to the users' maintenance center. An in-vehicle 12V DC charger and special mounting bracket option also enables the X4 cradle charger to be securely stored and charged while the user is in transit.

The versatility of the X4 series means that users now benefit from four ways to remain charged for effective gas detection cover using alkaline and rechargeable options.

"The X4 gas detector series is genuinely cost effective and practical to use in confined space, utility and other chemical process environments," says Chris Cottrell, vice-president sales & marketing for Zellweger Analytics.
"These new charging options mean that the X4 remains an adaptable, versatile and above all reliable means of portable gas detection."
