OSCA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (NYSE - GLK), provides a broad range of products and services for well drill-in, completion and stimulation operations for the oil and gas industry. The company, within its own operations or those of Great Lakes, is the primary manufacturer of chloride and bromide brines for use in its markets. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana with operations in key oil-producing regions throughout the world, OSCA employs over 500 people in 12 countries, with logistical connections and supply routes in all areas.
