Paradigm Unveils GOCAD Suite Version 2.5
Amsterdam, Netherlands - Paradigm, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production industry, announces the release of GOCAD Suite Version 2.5. The new suite is designed to expand Paradigm's industry-leading reservoir engineering solution by improving customer experience through a new user-friendly Windows-based graphical user interface (GUI).
The new interface is designed to improve quality control and knowledge management and provides for a fully configurable workspace, better data management tools and a multi-viewer interface.
Earlier this year, GOCAD Suite Version 2.5 passed Microsoft's rigorous Platform Test for ISV Solutions certification process. Testing was conducted independently by VeriTest, a testing service of Lionbridge Technologies.
"We designed GOCAD Suite Version 2.5 to significantly improve our customers' user experience through greater ease-of-use improvements and a redesigned interface," said Jean-Claude Dulac, executive vice president and chief architect at Paradigm. Paradigm now offers an interface to quickly navigate through both simple environments and complex tasks that other industry packages cannot duplicate."
GOCAD Suite Version 2.5 expands the interdisciplinary nature of 3D modeling through workflow integration, resulting in rigorous data analysis and thorough documentation that provides more accurate results quickly and efficiently.
The new edition contains significant enhancements to existing products, including Seismic Interpretation and Well Correlation, and introduces new products, including:
- Local Grid Refinement (LGR) and Upscaler
- Reservoir Data Analysis
- Reservoir Simulation Interface Workflow
- Product Data Analysis
- High Performance Volume Interpretation
- 2.5-D Restoration (Kine3D-2)
- 3-D Restoration (Kine3D-3)
GOCAD Suite Version 2.5 enhances workflows to aid in quality control and knowledge management using annotations, workflow comparisons, workflow template creation and workflow reporting.
