BJA have developed PIPESIM-GOAL for use in the design and day-to-day operation of (primarily) gas lifted oilfields
BJA have developed PIPESIM-GOAL for use in the design and day-to-day operation of (primarily) gas lifted oilfields. The model uses the base production characteristics of all the components that make up a field including wells, flowlines network and field equipment. Scarce lift gas resources are allocated to maximize total field production given all the operational constraints. The model can also perform an economic optimization taking into account such parameters as the cost of the:
- 1. injection gas
2. water handling and treatments
3. oil revenues and gas revenues
