Primexx Energy Partners To Sell Certain Operated Barnett Shale Properties
Dallas, TX - Primexx Energy Partners, Ltd. et al. has exclusively engaged Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc. to solicit acquisition offers for certain Barnett Shale gas properties located in Wise and Jack counties, Texas (the "Properties").
The Properties are located on the northwestern flank of the core of the Newark East Field in the Ft. Worth Basin of north central Texas. The Company has implemented a successful drilling program to date. Five horizontal Barnett Shale wells are currently producing and a sixth horizontal well is scheduled to be frac'd in early December 2006. Current gross daily production from the five producing wells averages approximately 7.1 million cubic feet of gas equivalent per day ("MMcfe/d") (5.3 MMcfe/d net to the Company's interest).
LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. of Dallas, Texas, has prepared an independent evaluation of the Proved Developed Producing Reserves (the "PDP Reserves Report") for the Properties in accordance with Society of Petroleum Engineers guidelines with an effective date of January 1, 2007. The PDP Reserves Report projects net PDP reserves of 9.8 Bcf and 68 MBO (10.2 Bcfe) with an estimated PV-10% of $30.3 MM. Based on the LPC report and review of the 3-D seismic data, 45 additional drilling locations have been identified (on 500 foot spacing) with estimated gross reserves potential of 93.9 Bcfe.
