Designed to meet the needs of the interpretive geoscientist, Prizm provides an intuitive user interface
Designed to meet the needs of the interpretive geoscientist, Prizm provides an intuitive user interface optimized to quickly and accurately interpret you well log data. Operating in the Microsoft Windows NT environment, Prizm is well suited for both the casual user and the experienced petrophysicist. Prizm is MapCentric. When using Prizm in the Discovery environment, you can simply select a well on your map to view and interpret your well log data. Calculate any curve statistic from your project and create 2D and 3D map views of the log data. Log-derived values from Prizm, such as average and total net pay, porosity, and Sw Can be posted and mapped. Your geoscientist team will quickly discover that Prizm is the most intuitive and powerful PC-based multi-well log analysis system available in the industry. Prizm streamlines your analysis as multiple users have access to a single project. Your projects can contain one well or thousands of wells. You can focus on a particular well for specialized manipulation and interpretation, or process a large number of wells with the click of a button using the MultiWell Processing feature. Simply select an interpretation technique and apply this technique to all the wells in your project. Isolate your zone of interest with the Curve Data Statistic Tool, and generate a summary of an entire field with only a few clicks of your mouse. What used to take days or weeks can now be accomplished in a few hours.

Prizm's Petrophysical and Log Analysis features include an intuitive equation editor that allows the creation of simple equations used to manipulate and perform calculations on your well log curves. This feature includes 100+ common log analysis equations that can be easily modified to meet your needs.

For the petrophysicist, Prizm includes a three and four mineral determination model and a development kit that allows you to create your own complex petrophysical algorithms using C, C++, or Visual Basic. Do you have existing code? You can use it in Prizm! This gives you unlimited power and accuracy for your Petrophysical needs.

Feature of Prizm Include:

  • Ability to view and pick tops and exchange picks with GES for efficient curve data design.

  • Better interpretation of your data with multiple Log View tracks including Logarithmic, Linear, Depth, Lithologies, Lithology Descriptions, Core Descriptions, and user-defined curves.

  • Pick interpretations parameters directly from the CrossPlot View with the interactive Pickett plot function.

  • Environmental correction algorithms to quickly view and compute curves.

  • Perform interactive depth shifting and curve editing, and view results in a Log View, CrossPlot View, or Report View.

  • Interpret multiple wells simply by pressing a button.

  • Generate quick field summary reports with the Curve Data Statistics Tool.

  • Seamlessly integrate and map your log-derived values with the GeoGraphix Exploration System.

  • Utility to digitize additional environmental correction chart.
