Air Security Internationals a Respiratory Protective Escape Device (RPED) designed to reduce the health risks and mortality rates associated with inhalation of toxic air. Pocket size and lightweight, it is designed to be instantly available at all times and can be carried discretely or stored just about anywhere. It is maintenance free and has a five (5) year shelf life. In a toxic air emergency, when each breath may carry illness or death, QuickMask can be donned in seconds. To use, simply tear open the sealed foil pouch, remove, unfold and pull the mask over your head.

Air Security Internationals comprised of a seamless hood with integrated visor and filter sections. The fire-resistant hood protects the entire head and seals at the neck. A fire-resistant visor protects the eyes and provides a wide field of view. The filter contains layers of charcoal cloth to absorb toxic gases and a particulate element to remove harmful particles.

Lab and field tests prove QuickMask to be effective against a wide range of toxic gases and harmful particles including: Acrolein, Ammonia, Carbon Tetrachloride, Chlorine, DMMP (Sarin Nerve Gas Simulant), Hexane, Hydrogen Chloride, Hydrogen Cyanide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulfur Dioxide, Tear Gas (CS & CN), Pepper Spray (OC), Smoke Particles and Soot.
