ReoStar Announces Increase In Production And Results On Barnett Shale Wells Using New Completion Techniques

Fort Worth, TX - ReoStar Energy Corp. has announced several updates on its Barnett Shale oil and gas well operations, located in Cooke County, Texas.

Recent Barnett Shale Production:

ReoStar Energy Corp. ("ReoStar") continues to see positive results from recently completed wells. As of March 23, ReoStar's gas production over the last 30 days increased 39,929 mcf – an increase of 54% from the 30 days prior. As of March 23, oil production over the last 30 days increased 5,446 barrels – an increase of 70% from the 30 days prior.

We have turned the recently completed Inglish D #6 over to production. This well, using a "mighty-acid" frac to improve permeability in the limestone interfaces throughout the Barnett interval, has produced significant results thus far. The Inglish D #6 has produced 2,463 barrels of oil and 9,422 mcf/gas in 10 days of production.

Recent Completions

Inglish B #3 - The well was fraced on March 23 & 24, 2007 using a similar "mighty-acid" frac or completion method. Flow back began on March 24 at 10:35 a.m. As of 6:00 p.m. on March 25, we have recovered 30% of treatment fluid. This is further evidence that the "mighty acid" frac has improved the flow-back (recovery of completion fluid) of these wells, which puts them into production at a quicker rate.

Recent Operations

Inglish D #7 - The well reached a total depth (TD) of 8,790 feet on March 12th. It is scheduled to be fraced on April 7th.

Inglish D #8 - ReoStar commenced drilling on March 17. Based on our recent average number of days to drill a well, we expect to TD the well on April 5th.

Inglish D #9 – The expected spud date is April 7th.
