Schlumberger Completes Reorganization of Oilfield Services

Schlumberger has reorganized its Oilfield Services business segment. The eight Schlumberger product lines have been restructured into 13 business segments charged with developing and supporting the products and services delivered to customers by the Geomarket organization. To further exploit the synergy and to develop innovative solutions for the industry, these 13 segments are grouped into three product groups.
The three groups are:
  • Reservoir Development:
Including Anadrill, Camco Products & Services, Dowell, Reda, Reed-Hycalog, and Testing
  • Reservoir Management:
Including GeoQuest, Holditch-Reservoir Technologies, Integrated Project Management, Production Operators International & Production Systems
  • Reservoir Evaluation:
    Including Geco-Prakla and Wireline.

According to Andrew Gould, Executive Vice President, Schlumberger Oilfield Services, "This new extension of the oilfield organization ensures a business focus and the development of best-in-class technologies in each of the business segments. The product groups will enhance the innovation of solutions to customer problems which span the different segments and will support the delivery of services in the Geomarkets."

The four groups will be managed by four presidents who report to Gould.
