ScottCan Industries Ltd. is the manufacturer of THERMCAT catalytic gas infrared explosion proof heaters, emitters and industrial ovens. THERMCAT heaters are used extensively in the oil and gas industry to keep production equipment operational in cold climates. They are also used as to provide heat in heat in many other hazardous applications such as paint kitchens, dry cleaning facilities and chemical plants. THERMCAT emitters and ovens are popular for curing paint and powder coating as well as fror leather curing, adhesives activation and many other applications. All THERMCAT products are CSA and FM approved. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, ScottCan has a reputation as a knowledgable, solutions-oriented manufacturer. Their staff has had many years experience in the catalytic heating business and has developed numerous innovative applications for this type of equipment. At the present time, ScottCan has a 5000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility with an average of 12 employees, depending on the season. However, because of the increased product demand ScottCan are moving to a new 15,000 sq.ft. facility in December 2000.
