The Storage Terminal Operators' Conference and Exhibition (StocExpo) 2010 is the leading event in Europe for the oil and chemical tank storage industry. It wil be held at the Antwerp Expo in Belgium from March 30 to April 1, 2010.

The three-day event is an important meeting point for top decision makers from terminal operators as well as oil and chemical companies. With over 120 exhibiting companies covering 2,000 m² of space and 2,000 people expected to attend, the StockExpo will be an excellent opportunity for SGS to display products, join the conference and meet potential business partners.

The StockExpo 2010 is an appropriate occasion for SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, to present its wide portfolio of services for the oil and chemical tank storage industry including Tank Integrity Assessment, Tank Calibration, Tank Audit, Tank Inspection and Tank Leak Detection.

At stand nos.15 & 16, SGS will be presenting information on Non-Destructive Testing methods for the inspection of storage tanks including:
Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD)
Phased Array (PA)
Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) and Leak Testing

These techniques are suitable for the detection of corrosion and defects in welds as well as leakages in the tank bottom, tank wall or tank shell. One of the most important advantages of using TOFD, Phased Array, Magnetic Flux Leakage and Leak Testing is the combination of a high detection rate with a very high reliability in pre-service and in-service inspections.
