Site Clearance Operations

In 1990, the US Department of the Interior issued regulations that required all oil companies to clean areas that have recently had structures removed. With this issuance of legislature, a new service was created in the oil industry. This new service called Site Clearance Verification, entails a trawl boat to pull its nets over the area to ensure no objects are left to liter the ocean floor. Thus, leaving the ecology of the body of water intact.

B & J Martin, Inc. currently has two 85' trawl boats equipped with skilled and reliable crews and equipment. Insurance coverage is an important part of our serivce. We carry $10,000,000 liability coverage and will have our agent forward you a Verification of Insurance Certificate upon request.
