The Software Development Division at ECL has developed a number of products as tools for ECL personnel on QC project work and to support clients. The division has a growing reputation as a provider of easy-to-use mathematical systems utilising the latest computer technology and methods.

ECL's proprietary products, used by its personnel in the field and in the office, have gained international recognition and are now in use throughout the industry. As a number of these systems relate to the quality control arena, ECL has a policy of making these products available for purchase by third parties, including competitors. Such third party customers consider the systems well-designed, technically robust and easy to use.
